Privacy policy
Here you can find out which personal data we process when you visit this website and what rights you have.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for processing personal data on this website is:
EinzigArtig – tiergestützte Intervention e. V.
Jahnweg 46
89079 Ulm
Germany
Email: kontakt@einzig-artig-ulm.de
2. General information on data processing
Protecting your personal data is important to us. We process your personal data exclusively within the framework of the statutory provisions, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG).
Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
This privacy policy informs you about which personal data is collected when you visit our website, for what purposes it is processed and what rights you have.
3. Hosting and server log files
Our website is operated and hosted by VidiScope GmbH, which acts as a processor on behalf of our association. For this purpose, VidiScope GmbH uses servers of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany (sub-processor).
When you visit our website, the server automatically stores information transmitted by your browser in so-called server log files:
- IP address
- date and time of access
- address (URL) accessed
- browser type, browser version and operating system
- referrer URL (the page visited before)
This data is processed to ensure the technical functionality, security and stability of the website, for example to detect and fend off attacks. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in providing our website securely and without errors.
The server log files are deleted after 15 days at the latest.
We have concluded a data processing agreement with VidiScope GmbH in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR; VidiScope GmbH in turn has concluded a data processing agreement with Hetzner Online GmbH.
4. Cookies
Our website only sets cookies that are technically necessary for its operation. We do not use cookies for analytics, statistics or advertising.
- “einzigartig-session” (session) and “XSRF-TOKEN” (security cookie): they are set technically when the website is accessed and protect the website's administration area against forged requests. Both contain only random identifiers and are valid for two hours.
- “ea_locale”: it stores the version of the website you have chosen (German, English or Plain German) when you use the language switcher and is valid for one year.
Anyone who opens a preview link from the association also receives the cookie “ea_preview”, which is valid until the link expires.
Technically necessary cookies may be stored without consent (section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG); the associated processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Consent via a cookie banner is therefore not required.
A cookie from VidiReserve is only set when you open a booking, a voucher purchase, a group request or the contact form (see section 8).
5. Fonts, analytics tools and social networks
Our website uses the fonts available on your device. No connection to third-party font servers (such as Google Fonts) is established when the pages load.
We do not use any analytics or statistics tools and do not embed any content from social networks. Our Instagram profiles are only linked (see section 9).
6. Contact form
The contact form on our website is provided by VidiReserve, a service of VidiScope GmbH, which also operates our website (section 3). The form is loaded as an embedded frame from vidireserve.com; VidiReserve thereby receives your IP address and the technical data listed in section 2. When you submit a request, the data you enter is processed:
- first name and last name
- email address
- telephone number
- selected topic and the content of your message
Your request is stored in our association's message inbox at VidiReserve. The association receives a notification by email, and you receive a confirmation of receipt at the email address you provided. We use this data solely to handle your request.
To protect against misuse, VidiReserve automatically checks requests for signs of automated input, for example the submission speed and the origin of the embedding. In addition, VidiReserve uses the bot protection “Turnstile” by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, in the form. Your browser loads a script from challenges.cloudflare.com, and Cloudflare processes your IP address and technical characteristics of your browser to distinguish people from automated programs; as a rule you do not have to solve a challenge. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (protection against misuse). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; see Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
The processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request is aimed at concluding or performing a contract, or on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in handling your request and protecting against misuse. VidiScope GmbH processes the data as a processor under the agreement referred to in section 3.
We delete your request as soon as it has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations stand in the way.
7. Contact by email
If you contact us by email, the personal data you send us will be processed solely to handle your request.
This applies in particular to:
- name
- email address
- content of your message
- any other information you provide voluntarily
Processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request relates to the conclusion or performance of a contract, or in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in handling your request.
The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the respective purpose, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
8. Dates, vouchers and group requests via VidiReserve
For dates, vouchers, group requests and the contact form (see section 6) we integrate functions from VidiReserve. VidiReserve is operated by VidiScope GmbH; our association uses VidiReserve as a customer.
On pages with dates, vouchers, a group request or the contact form, your browser loads a script from vidireserve.com and retrieves the current dates and vouchers from there. In doing so, technically necessary connection data such as your IP address, details of your browser and the address of our website are transmitted to VidiReserve. Simply visiting our pages does not cause VidiReserve to store any cookies or other data on your device, except on the contact page, where the contact form is embedded directly.
Only when you open a booking, a voucher purchase, a group request or the contact form is a page from vidireserve.com shown in a window on our website or opened in a new tab. There, VidiReserve sets a technically necessary session cookie. Booking, payment and requests are handled by VidiReserve, which processes the data you enter, in particular:
- first and last name
- email address
- telephone number (if provided)
- booking details
- payment details, where applicable
- any other information required for the booking
Processing is carried out to take steps prior to entering into a contract and to perform the contract concluded between you and our association in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Displaying the dates and vouchers is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in making our activities bookable online.
We have concluded a data processing agreement with VidiScope GmbH in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. Further information can be found in the VidiReserve privacy policy.
9. External links
Our website contains links to our Instagram profiles. We do not embed any content from Instagram; you only leave our website when you click a link.
The respective provider is solely responsible for data processing on its pages. Please refer to the privacy information of the respective provider.
10. SSL/TLS encryption
Our website uses SSL/TLS encryption to protect the transmission of confidential content.
You can recognise an encrypted connection by, among other things, the prefix “https://” in your browser’s address bar.
11. Storage period
We only store personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations.
Once the respective purpose no longer applies or statutory retention periods have expired, the data will be deleted in accordance with the statutory provisions.
12. Your rights
Under the statutory provisions you have the right:
- of access pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR,
- to rectification pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR,
- to erasure pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR,
- to restriction of processing pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR,
- to data portability pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR,
- to object to processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR,
- to withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future.
13. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data.
The competent supervisory authority is generally the data protection authority of the federal state in which our association has its registered office.
14. Changes to this privacy policy
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy if this becomes necessary due to changes in legal requirements or technical changes to our website.
The version published on this website applies.
