Farm explorers
We meet for several sessions and spend time together on the farm. We get to know the farm animals and have the chance to feed and stroke them and to play on the grounds.
The course covers these topics:
- pigs
- ponies
- chickens
- rabbits
- sheep
- the tractor
- free play
The farm explorers course is for children of nursery age with an accompanying adult.
Nature explorers
“Children want to understand their environment and find their own relationship with it.” With our explorer backpacks we head out around the Sommerhof: we explore the woods, the meadow and the creatures by the stream – we look, listen, build and play. We use natural materials to make things such as little boats, a dreamcatcher or a wind chime.
The nature explorer days are for children aged 5 and over.
